Cairn MCP server
Connect Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor or any assistant that speaks the Model Context Protocol to workplace safety enforcement data. Your assistant can look up how often a 29 CFR standard is cited, the median penalty, and where it ranks. It is free and read-only, and it needs no account. The most-cited paragraphs, industries, states and yearly trend, the interpretation letters, and cited answers about your own facility are in Cairn.

Where the data comes from
Citation counts and penalties come from the federal OSHA enforcement record, for citations issued from January 2016 through September 10, 2026. Section titles come from the eCFR as of October 9, 2026. Every result includes a link to its page on cairnsafe.com, so an assistant can cite its source. Results return at most 10 standards at a time.
Penalties are the current amounts on record and can be lower than the amount first proposed. The data is not legal advice. Cairn is not affiliated with OSHA or the U.S. Department of Labor. Each address can make 60 requests a minute.
The same numbers are on the standards pages. For answers to questions about your own facility, cited to the CFR and OSHA's interpretation letters, use Cairn itself.
